Family Sponsorship
In this way, which might be considered as one of the easiest ways of immigrating to Canada, the applicant must have at least one family member who is a Canadian citizen.

The Canadian citizen must be mother, father, brother, sister, spouse and children. However, the applicant who wants to sponsor any family member must have sufficient funds during the time they apply for this process.
Through Marriage
It is not that easy because Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada consider these types of cases very carefully as the number of fake marriages has been increasing during the past years.

So the applicant should not be under this impression that by getting married in a fake way, they will be granted the Canadian visa and allowed to come and live in Canada. IRCC requires the applicant to provide genuine and objectives documents for their marriage to be real.

There are some important criteria which require the applicant to have in order to get married in a legal way for being granted the visa:

Your spouse must be a Canadian citizen.

Your spouse must have sufficient fund during their stay in Canada.

The applicant’s marriage must be official and legal and accompanied with proofs, and genuine documents.

So if the applicant has gotten married just before applying for Canadian visa, IRCC will be taking a more meticulous consideration on their case. It is important to bear in mind that by getting married with a Canadian citizen, the applicant is not granted an instant PR because the applicant has to apply for their spouse through sponsorship and have to enter Canada with their spouse.

Having lived in Canada for three years and passed the necessary times for their eligibility of obtaining their PRs, the applicant can apply for it. Therefore, it is not that easy to become an instant permanent resident by getting married.
Child Birth
All those babies who are born in Canada, even out of their foreign parents, are instantly Canadian citizens. But this Canadian citizenship is not being granted to the baby’s foreign-born parents.

However, it is still possible for the parents to become Canadian citizens when their child, who becomes 18 years of age, applies for them through sponsorship. There are some certain given criteria for the child to apply for their parents’ immigration visa given above.
